What is Baltic amber?
Amber is an organic substance that is derived from fossilized resin. The most active form of resin is succinic acid, which is high in anti-inflammatory properties. Amber is then transferred from the beads to the body until it reaches the bloodstream to work its magic. It is perfect to help those with a variety of inflammatory disorders. It also has analgesic properties that help ease the pain at the source while it helps reduce swelling. Amber is able to restore the immune system and increase one’s energy levels if they are low.

If I purchase two, will they be identical?
No! The amber is all natural from the earth. Each bit of tree resin is hardened into a bead to be placed onto the necklace or bracelet. The beads are sorted by size and strung. But color, shape, texture can vary from necklace to necklace. It is extremely rare to find two that are exact, thats why every piece is unique.
Amber for teething
How does amber teething necklaces and bracelets work?
When worn against the skin, small amounts of succinic acid are absorbed into the blood stream. Some parents prefer bracelets or anklets, and that works too. Some parents report that necklaces work better, and some report they work equally. We would love to hear what works best for your little one! The following are specific issues parents use amber for:
- to relieve teething pain;
- to reduce swollen gums;
- to reduce drooling;
- to boost immunity.
Does amber work for every baby?
Most of the time, it does work! Given the fact that every human body is different, claiming this will work for everyone is not responsible advertising. There is absolutely no difference in color or polish when it comes to teething. Most of babies will see results in 30 minutes. The few who do not may take up to 4 days. For babies, if it does not help at 6 mo, it does not mean it will not help at 12 mo. So it is always good to hold onto it and try at different teething stages. Why? Because not everyone reacts the same way to every medicine, whether natural or synthetic.
Is using amber jewelry safe?
Yes, but follow these precautions. Always use under adult supervision, remove while sleeping and while unattended. Keep amber out of baby’s mouths.
What size is best?
From 4 months to 5 years, we suggest 12.5 inches. PreTeen 13-14 inches. Adults and Teens 15 inches plus! The necklaces are slightly stretchable as well if you need an extra inch. Without pulling at the clasps, gently pull bead to bead until you’ve gone around the entire necklace one time. Try out the new size and repeat if a longer length is desired.
Is this safe for my baby to wear at night?
We do not recommend wearing the necklace and/or bracelet when unsupervised. We MUST advise for removal any time the baby is not within sight. Daywear is enough for the baby to have all of the benefits they need to last them all night. We have had many customers testify that even after they remove the amber, the pain reduction effects remain in their systems or that of their baby’s for 1-2 days.

Can I Really Use This on my Dog?
You sure can! Dogs can also reap the benefits from Baltic Amber. Amber can help them in the same way it would a person, but it is best used to help prevent and treat ticks by making the dogs “unattractive hosts”. Your dog can go out and conquer the world without having to worry about the pesky insects. It will help refrain them from getting Lyme Disease as well or treat it if they have it.
